Enloe Dam served its purpose many decades ago.  It has become a burden without benefits for the Okanogan Public Utility District (OPUD) and its ratepayers. Detailed studies underway via agencies, Tribes and NGOs are fully examining the issues and opportunities associated with dam removal.

 

Stakeholders are investigating sources of funding available to support dam removal. We think it's time to say "thanks for the memories," and move on to the next chapter.
