The Restore similkameen effort
Restore Similkameen is a community-led effort seeking to bring awareness about the necessity of removing Enloe Dam and restoring the Similkameen River for the benefit of fish, wildlife, public, and local economy. Community members have different reasons for supporting restoration, from interest in seeing economic improvement in Okanogan County to the sacredness of the waterways to tribal communities.

Join our local supporters in seeking change
Want to volunteer?
Restore Similkameen is seeking volunteers to spread the word by tabling at events (when it's safe to do so) such as the Okanogan County Fair and other social events to help spread awareness and excitement about the community benefits of restoring the Similkameen River. We will provide an outreach kit with all of the materials you will need and can also pair volunteers with knowledgeable community members to make it more fun!
